Next Vision Board Workshop-January 19

21 12 2010

Vision Board Workshops

 January 19, 7:00-9:00  Renewal

For our face-to-face vision board session, the topic for January will be Renewal.

We will start the session with thoughtful questioning and discussion.

  • With a change in the light due to the winter solstice, how do you wish to “renew” yourself as we move into the light of the new year?
  •  How will you restore your existence, vigor, and fresheness in the coming days?

Then, we will all create a vision board!  All supplies will be provided.  Your vision can focus on the “renewal” discussion, or it might go in a completely different direction…where ever the soul leads!

Vision Board Workshop~Bounty

19 11 2010

The discussion for November’s session revolved around “bounty”.

The energy is wonderful during these Vision Board Workshops!  It is delightful learning and connecting with others.

Where is there abundance in your life right now?  From the small group discussions we heard the myriad of ways that others are discovering the “bounty” in their lives.  We discovered that even though we come from different experiences, we can find wonder in the day-to-day riches of our lives.

The ever-present laughter and conversation as we created our unique vision boards is so warming to the soul!  Looking at images, being reminded of what someone said in the discussion, sharing images with one another and holding close those images that are personal and important kept us busy for about an hour!

Sharing the final images brings about a sense of “uniqueness”.  While some put their images directly onto the board and shared, others shared the images they had pulled, but will attach later, and others took the images they have found and put them into a folder for later contemplation.

Whichever way is chosen is just right for that person.

Thank you for sharing the evening of Vison Board Workshops!  What a joy to know you all!  If you take a photo of your vision board and wish to share it, click here:  http://tinyurl.com/2dq5xbk

The next Vision Board Workshop is December 15 from 7:00-9:00.  Looking forward to seeing you there!

Dream of a Lavender Wreath

5 06 2010

lavender wreath

In my dream last night was a lavendar wreath.  It was hanging on a wall in a house with white wall paper that had tiny flowers.  There was dark wood surrounding the doorways of this house.

The wreath began to move…sliding slightly on its own.  Then, I realized it was moving on its own, and I became frightened.  The wreath continued to move and slid right up the wall and flipped over…causing me to scream!  This reminded me of the way the Ouija board moves.

A lot of divine power in this dream.  Connections to the spirit world…and women in my family.  Very femine.  The power of women and feminine energy.

This gives me an idea to create a dream capture image….

Dream Capture Workshop

28 05 2010

We spent the afternoon capturing our dreams at Dreese Fine Art Gallery.  After connecting with one another, and sharing our dreams, these were the “key” words or ideas that were shared:

Fire
Primal source
Connections
Torch
No
Vibrancy
Wheat field

From there, we began to create using the words that had the most resonance for us from our dreams.  Here is the progression of my idea/word, wheatfield:

I am posting my progression to give an idea of how we were able to play with a variety of mediums and create as many images as we wished.

Here is my final image:

The wheatfield signified change for me…growth, acceptance, wrestling with change, and working towards inner-peace.
